Vision

Vision:

         Making the state of Karnataka a fully literate state

Objectives:

  1. Ensuring literacy by providing basic literacy for all non-literates in karnataka state.
  2. To promote economic empowerment through awareness of the continuation of learning and social and economic development
  3. Creating, publishing and distributing literacy materials from experts in adult education and its management.
  4. Increasing the literacy rate of non-literate men and women, especially scheduled castes, tribes and minorities in backward taluk/village panchayaths. Reducing the literacy rate gap between men and women.
  5. Conducting assesment tests in collaboration with National institute of open schooling(NIOS)
  6. Reducing rural and literacy rates.
